The Finance Committee invites expression of interest among Rotarians with practicing firms of Chartered Accountants to carry out the audit of our financial statements.

Accordingly, Rotarians are invited to submit a proposal for the preparation of its yearly audited financial statements and management letter for the period beginning with the 2020-2021 fiscal year ending 30th June, 2021. The audit of the financial statements must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. 

The above must be completed within 3 months of the end of each fiscal year or from appointment date of the Auditor. Our District requires that a meeting of the Auditor and selected Rotary Leaders (Immediate Past District Governor, Immediate Past District Treasurer and District Finance Committee Chair) and staff members be held to discuss a draft version of the financial statements prior to the audited report being submitted and presented by the immediate District Governor at the District Training Assembly.

All proposals must include:

a)   Evidence of the firm’s audit practicing license;

b)   The size and organizational structure of the auditor’s firm;

c)    Statement of the firm’s understanding of work to be performed,         

d)   Proposed fee/honorarium structure for the audit work;

e)    References and contact information from at least 2 comparable nonprofit audit clients.
